City Of Milwaukees Only Worker On Vacation This Week

MILWAUKEE, WI- For three days now the City of Milwaukee has been fielding calls about pot holes, flooding, burnt out street lights, etc. The answer is always the same.

“Sorry there’s nothing we can do, Jim is on Vacation.” One secretary said to an angry citizen.

Jim is a 20 year veteran of Milwaukee Public Works and the branches only employee.

“Jim works very, very hard and deserves some time off.” uttered mayor Barrett. “He’s too valuable of an asset to this city and we’ll get a fine if he doesn’t use up all of his PTO by the end of the year, so our hands were tied.”

The mayor is urging everyone to just “hang in there a little while longer” Jim will return Sunday afternoon.
