Noah’s Ark Waterpark To Lose Tax Exemption As Religious Site

WISCONSIN DELLS, WI – Popular summer destination and self-declared “America’s Largest Waterpark,” Noah’s Ark is preparing for an extended legal battle with Democratic Governor Tony Evers. A spokesperson for the Governor indicated this week that they are preparing to rescind the waterpark’s long-standing religious-based tax exempt status.

Conservatives have decried the action as another example of the “woke left” attacking religious freedoms in America. Kathy Watson, a mother of three and self-described Evangelical, commented on social media, “When the Founding Fathers created This Great Nation they wanted my Children’s Rites[sic] to enjoy the Black Anaconda and Point of No Return without the Federal Government getting Involved Keep God in where he belongs In Our Schools and In Our Waterparks”

Other political analysts question if this is actually a form of personal retaliation for a 2015 incident when then-State Superintendent Evers was removed from the Kahuna Wave Pool for “alleged urination.” Governor Evers has repeatedly denied these claims and indicated that a lemon-flavored Italian ice was to blame.

Gov. Evers’ office has not yet responded to our requests for comment. WNT political analysts are also uncertain how this precedent will affect other religious-based Dells attractions such as Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park.
