Eric Hovde Buys Capitol Building, Replacing it With In-and-Out Burger

MADISON – Has Wisconsin politics gone animal-style? California real estate mogul and likely Republican opponent in Tammy Baldwin’s reelection bid, Eric Hovde purchased the Wisconsin State Capitol Building with plans to replace the current seat of state government with the very first Wisconsin franchise of In-and-Out, a beloved west coast burger chain.

Beverly de L’isle, A spokesperson for Hovde stated “We’re excited to bring Eric Hovde’s west coast flavor to America’s Heartland, and what could be a better place to do so than the center of Madison’s isthmus?”

She further explained development plans which include converting the streets circling the building into a neverending roundabout drive thru. She added, “if everything stays according to schedule, we’ll be serving up more Double Doubles than Giannis Antekoopa [sic] by election day.”
