MILWAUKEE – With Milwaukee hosting a GOP Primary Debate in one of the largest venues ever used for such an event, Fiserv Forum Executives had to get creative in order to fill 17,500 seats.
“Watching a bunch of people argue really doesn’t bring people in. We kind of screwed up booking this one.” John Fjörn said, Director of Marketing at Fiserv Forum.
When they realized their error, Fjörn said they had to get creative, and dig deep into the demographics of the Debate, hoping to lure people in with a second attraction.
“That’s when we reached out to Monster Jam, and pitched our idea. They didn’t hesitate. They were in immediately.”
Fiserv Forum, Monster Jam, and the Republican Party have choreographed a 1 hour, 30 minute performance that will take place as the speakers are discussing critical national issues. Part of the act will include “El Toro Loco” jumping over the candidates as they debate foreign policy.
Fjörn adds,
“We really went above and beyond with this. The pyrotechnics are going to be nothing an indoor arena has never seen before. Also, the minute De Santis drops his big statement on the War in Ukraine, and its effect on oil, the bass is dropping too.”
