Milwaukee Art Museum Flies South Until Spring
MILWAUKEE, WI- Many Milwaukeean’s this morning were treated to something truly amazing. This morning around 7 am the Milwaukee Art Museum lifted from its foundation and began its journey to warmer weather.
Experts say the flight to Florida could take the museum up to 5 days depending weather on conditions and the amount of people still trapped within the building. Much like the winter migration of Wisconsin’s elderly to Phoenix Arizona, Museum Migration is the regular seasonal movement of an educational institution along a flyway, between breeding and wintering grounds.
