“Sunny Skies Ahead” Mark Baden Announces 2024 Bid for President
MILWAUKEE – Mark Baden, a mainstay of Milwaukee’s weather prognostication scene has announced his bid for Presidency in the upcoming 2024 election.
The dark horse candidate’s previous accolades include such distinctions as the American Meteorological Society’s seal of approval (1993), Chief Meteorologist at WISN-TV (1997), and three consecutive “Warm Front of the Year” titles from Weather Daddy Weekly (2021-2023).
Running as an independent, Baden has announced his positivity focused campaign slogan “Sunny Skies Ahead,” though as with all forecasts this is subject to change.
“If my years of providing dependable weather predictions has taught me anything,” said Baden at a press conference, “it’s that all Americans crave a level of certainty, and our current leaders aren’t providing that.”
Baden will begin campaigning this month in Iowa and other plains states, with plans to emphasize his strong anti-tornado stance. This summer his campaign will track through the Gulf Coast as hurricane season approaches, moving up the east coast in time to see New England’s foliage turn.
