MINOCQUA, WI – Minocqua Brewing Company owner Kirk Bangstad, known for his quick-witted, and sometimes cringey behavior online, has become a household name among conservatives as a prime example of what they believe liberals to be. But liberals across the nation want to set the record straight and emphasize that they are not all cut from the same, uh, “unique” cloth.
Lenny Thompson, a self-proclaimed liberal and avid avocado toast enthusiast, expressed their frustration, saying,
“It’s really disheartening every time I mention my political beliefs, people automatically assume I’m going to start stalking their social media and publicly shaming like Bangstad. I assure you, I will not do this.”
Another liberal, Jane Miller, chimed in,
“I just want everyone to know that I can have a normal conversation with you without calling you a Nazi if we disagree.”
While Bangstad’s antics on social media have provided endless entertainment for some, others are growing tired of being unfairly associated with his eccentric online persona.
As the libs continue to distance themselves from Bangstad, it remains to be seen whether the world will finally recognize the diverse range of opinions within the liberal community. One thing is certain: not all liberals are like Kirk Bangstad, and they are determined to make that clear, one normal online conversation at a time.
